Rakta Daan gari Garaun Jiwana Daan

An earthquake in Nepal killed an Employee of Salad’s family. The Boss Park Kyong Ju wanted to comfort the spirit of the deceased by reading the Cheonbugyeong*, which was embroidered with gold leaf on red cloth. If we trace our blood back, we would have spoken the same language and could have easily communicated with each other. “Rakta Daan gari Garaun Jiwana Daan ” means to give blood and give life in Nepali, and it is said to be the name of a blood donation campaign program that the deceased participated in while alive. The Boss hopes that the soul of the deceased has arrived in a good place, reads the Cheonbugyeong and imagines the days when people, nature, and heaven communicated with each other. Pray for Nepal.

*Cheonbugyeong (천부경, 天符經) is a sutra that has been handed down orally from Hwanguk(桓國, B.C. 3898-3805) and consists of 9 characters and 1 phrase, and 81 characters out of 9. The scriptures use the numbers from one to nine to describe the creation of the heavens and the earth and their operation, as well as the principles of growth and decline of all things.
